Coulomb’s law describes the electrostatic force acting between the charges of two particles.

  • F      = Force (Newtons)
  • q1   = Charge of first particle (Coulombs)
  • q2   = Charge of second particle (Coulombs)
  • r2     = Distance between particles (Meters)
